Dear Children and Parents,

Remember to read 1/2 to 1 hour per day to improve your reading! Have a grown up read to you too. Reading is the #1 thing to learn! It affects all areas of school. Also make sure you memorize your addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division math facts. You should know them all quickly by the end of the year.

Use the weblinks on the left of this page to visit some interesting sites or get some fun skills practice.

FYI: Children can take the Star Reading test from home or any Accelerated Reader tests on books they've read. WARNING: Once a child has taken a test on the Accelerated Reader for a particular book, they can NEVER do that book again. Please be really ready before taking an Accelerated Reader test.
