This fall, Dearborn Schools will introduce incoming Kindergarten students to school through a ‘soft start’. Kindergarten students, as well as all students at Long, will begin on September 8 with a half day of school, dismissing at 11:45. On Wednesday, September 9, Kindergarten students will again attend school for a half day dismissing at 11:45. On Thursday and Friday, Kindergarten students will stay for lunch and part of the afternoon. Dismissal for Kindergarten will be at 1:30 on Thursday and Friday. Monday, September 14, all Kindergarten students will begin attending school for full day sessions, dismissing with the rest of the school at 3:35.
