Long School students, staff and parents joined together with volunteers from U of M/Dearborn EIC, Beaumont Hospital, ACCESS, Wayne State and Ford Motor Company to create our garden area. Students moved components into place, filled planting boxes with soil, spread mulch and planted trees. This is one component of the D-Shines project.
