On April 2, Governor Whitmer extended the closure of Michigan schools through the end of the 2019-2020 school year. We want our community to know that Long School and Dearborn Public Schools will continue to provide support during this time in many ways. We will be providing additional information regarding the district’s plan and additional resources available following approval from Wayne Regional Educational Service Agency. On a positive note, our district plan will include many components you are already working with, as these have been used regularly with our students.
April 6-10 is Dearborn Schools’ scheduled Spring Break. During this time teachers and administrators will take a break from sending additional communications and assignments.
Meals will be distributed Monday, Wednesday and Thursday next week at Long School.
Third marking period grades will be available on Parent Connect beginning next week. Go to Dearborn Schools web site then the ParentConnect link. If you don’t know your login info, click the Need Your Login Information link and it will prompt you to enter your email address as provided to the school and entered in MIStar then click Submit. This process emails your PIN and Password to you.
Following the break, continue to communicate with teachers via Class Dojo, email and/or blogs. Links to blogs and email addresses can be found on the Staff page at the top of this blog.
