Your Long PTA is ready and excited and for our upcoming school year and we have a lot of fun things in store for you! We would like to invite you all to our first PTA which is also on Open House Day: Thursday, September 8th. The meeting will be held right after school from 4:10pm – 5:10pm in the school’s media center. Childcare will be provided in the gym for those needing it. We will also have treats! Come find out more about how you can be involved this year. Our PTA would not be possible without the support and dedication of the parents here at Long!
Here are a few of the events and opportunities that the PTA runs (parent involvement is appreciated and needed to make them all possible):

Basketball (November 7th – February 6th)
Popcorn Fridays (two Fridays a month)
Teacher Appreciation Week (May 1st – 5th)
Field Day
Fun Fair (Friday, May 19th)
