For the past 6 years, Long School has partnered with many local organizations to provide a weekly distribution of non-perishable food items to our students as a supplement for weekend meals. We are continuing this program beginning Wednesday, November 18.
Between 1:00 and 4:00 pm on Wednesday only, bags of food will be distributed by “walk-by service” from the window of the Long School cafeteria. In the past, these have been referred to as our Friday Helper bags. Everyone is welcome to pick up bags for students, walk up the sidewalk to the open cafeteria window and we will hand the bags out to you. If you are not able to pick up during this time, you may email us at manszes@dearbornschools.org or wrightp@dearbornschools.org and we will try to accommodate you.
