You are invited to attend a very important informational meeting on Friday, January 27 at 8:50 am. Mrs. Morey, Mrs. Newsted, Mrs. Liepe and I will be providing more information about the Reading by Third Grade legislation, as well as how the district and school will be working to support students. We especially want to share specific suggestions with you for continuing to work with your child at home as they move into more structured Reading instruction.
If you are not able to attend this meeting, we would be happy to discuss the agenda items with you at a more convenient time. We also plan to schedule additional meeting days to provide you with materials and ideas for enhancing your child’s learning at home. Through our continued partnership, we plan to ensure that every child at Long School is achieving at or above grade level.
